The Serials Department, which is responsible for the largest percentage of expenditures for the academic resources -- including electronic resources -- coordinates binding and preservation of all library materials. This area serves as the key contact in the set-up and delivery of LAN resources, from point of purchase until the resources are made available to students, faculty, and patrons via the Internet and LAN. The official receiving of all library resources and the processing of print magazines, journals, and newspapers are two of the most significant tasks carried out by the Serials staff.
Periodicals are arranged by Dewey Decimal Classification at:
- Room 113 on 1st floor (unbound and bound 1991-present, 000-699)
- Room 118 on 1st floor (unbound and bound 1991-present, 700-999)
