Biology instructors share LSU workshop experience

GRAMBLING, La. -- Three Grambling State University biology instructors will host “The Scientific Teaching, Assessment and Resources (TAR) Workshop at LSU: Lessons Learned” at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Carver Hall, Room 119.

The mini-institute targeted faculty who were in their first few years of teaching at the college level. The workshops purpose was to explore new instruction models for the undergraduate biology classroom emphasizing active learning, assessment, and diversity. The TAR workshop is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
