Tigers set to hold Black and Gold game, crawfish boil Saturday
GRAMBLING, La. -- The Grambling State Tigers football team, 2008 Southwestern Athletic Conference and Black College National Champions, will wrap up spring drills when they hold their annual Spring Black and Gold football game at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eddie G. Robinson Stadium.
The game will give Tiger fans a first glimpse into what to expect from their defending champions and an opportunity to purchase season tickets; while also providing a family atmosphere full of entertainment for fans of all ages.
The GSU Athletics Department will sponsor a “Kids Zone,” featuring face-painting, a space walk and prizes. The first 500 hundred fans will receive door prizes. Also, entertainment will be provided by the “World Famed” Grambling State Marching Band, Orchesis and the GSU Cheerleaders.
A crawfish boil will be held at the stadium.
