Grambling, Louisiana – The President's Dinner Theatre Committee and the GSU Art Department recently hosted the Mosiac Youth Group of Detroit in the T.H. Harris Auditorium. The exciting performance was entitled "Speak for Yourself" which placed an emphasis on what life is like-characterizing various view points of today's teenagers.
The group provided the audience with a very candid position on race and hope. Noting, a future where, regardless of race, people accept one another because they understand one another. "This is a very, very gifted and talented group of young actors. We are pleased to have them visit and perform on our campus and be a part of the Grambling experience," commented GSU president, Dr. Horace A. Judson.
After the performance, the noted youth group was honored with a dessert party-hosted by the Monroe-Grambling chapter of Links, Inc. in the president's dining room at McCall Hall.
