GSU Department of Theatre Arts
to present One Act Festival
Grambling, La. -- The Theatre Department at Grambling State University will present the One Act Festival at 7 p.m., Monday through Wednesday in the Floyd L. Sandle Theatre.
Admission is free.
The festival includes nine plays being presented over three days. Each show is cast and directed by the students enrolled in the Capstone Directing Class.
The following are the plays to be presented as well as the director and date:
Monday, April 27 – Colored People’s Time directed by Curtis Arrington, The Vagina Monologues directed by Aigner Edgerson, and Mrs. Henry directed by Alexa Bell.
Tuesday, April 28 – For Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf, directed by Antoinette Little, Oleanna directed by Nykia Taylor, and I Am American directed by Chris Champion.
Wednesday, April 29 – Letter from Birmingham Jail directed by Angela O’Leary, Her Majesty Visits directed by Chris Harmon, and A Present for the Prince directed by Harold J. Trotter.
