Basketball camps to be held at GSU Assembly Center June 8-13
Grambling, La. -- Women’s Basketball Association stars Alexis Hornbuckle and Elaine Powell of the Detroit Shock will be part of the Top Kat Hoops Basketball Camps at the Grambling State University Assembly Center June 8-13.
The camps’ director is Donnita Drain Rogers, GSU’s head women’s basketball coach. The first camp, Tiger Tots Basketball Camp, is for girls ages 4 through 9 and boys ages 4 through 6. It runs June 8-10 and costs $100.
The second camp, Top Kat Hoops Basketball Camp, features three divisions for girls ranging from grades 4 through 12. It runs June 11-13 and costs $200 for commuters; $260 for non-commuters.
