Constitution Day Celebration set
GRAMBLING-----The
annual Constitution Day celebration at GSU will be Tuesday, September 16
at 11:00 a.m. in the assembly center. Constitution Day recognizes the birth
of America's government.
Noted talk radio personality and community/political activist, Joe Madison will be the featured speaker for the annual convocation. A native of Dayton, Ohio, Madison has been named Talker Magazine's 100 Most Important Talk Show Hosts nine times and received the publication's coveted Freedom of Speech Award earlier this year. He has led several voter registration marches and marches and rallies for individuals he felt needed a voice for human rights in America and in foreign countries-including efforts in Sudan. He is a graduate of Washington University.
The convocation is free of charge and open to the public.
