MARC Program
ELIGIBILITY
- Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or Math majors
- GPA 3.0 or better (cumulative)
- 2 to 4 semesters to graduation date
- Committed to pursue graduate school in Biomedical Sciences
- American Citizen or Green Card Holders
- Participate in a Summer Research Internship at a Research Intensive
Institution
- Limited to under represented minority students who are African American,
Hispanic American, Native American, and Native to the U.S. Pacific Islands
- Open to transfer students who must be enrolled at GSU During the Scholarship
Period
BENEFITS
- Total Benefits up to $43,000 (out-state) and up to $32,000 (in-state)
- Summer Research Internships (up to $5,000)
- Full tuition
- $922/month stipend up to $22,128 Cash
- All Travel cost to Research Conference
- Mentoring by MARC Faculty
- Support during the applications process to graduate schools
- Enrollment in summer courses while participating in summer internships
