MARC Program


ELIGIBILITY
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or Math majors
  • GPA 3.0 or better (cumulative)
  • 2 to 4 semesters to graduation date
  • Committed to pursue graduate school in Biomedical Sciences
  • American Citizen or Green Card Holders
  • Participate in a Summer Research Internship at a Research Intensive Institution
  • Limited to under represented minority students who are African American, Hispanic American, Native American, and Native to the U.S. Pacific Islands
  • Open to transfer students who must be enrolled at GSU During the Scholarship Period
BENEFITS
  • Total Benefits up to $43,000 (out-state) and up to $32,000 (in-state)
  • Summer Research Internships (up to $5,000)
  • Full tuition
  • $922/month stipend up to $22,128 Cash
  • All Travel cost to Research Conference
  • Mentoring by MARC Faculty
  • Support during the applications process to graduate schools
  • Enrollment in summer courses while participating in summer internships
