RECRUITMENT SERVICES

EDWARD SCOTT, Asst. Director/Head  Recruiter

Edward L. Scott, III is primarily responsible for coordinating and monitoring all recruitment services for the University.  As the Head Recruiter, he coordinates recruiter assignments, establishes professional relationships with high school counselors and principals, coordinates recruitment fairs with alumni and other volunteer recruiters, and develops recruiting materials for distribution to prospective students.  He also manages a massive database of requests for recruitment visits from high schools, community colleges, churches, outreach programs, and a host of other organizations that hold college fairs for prospective students. 

As the Assistant Director of Admissions, Edward assists with implementation of office-sponsored events, counsels prospective students/parents concerning admissions, scholarships, and residential life, attends high school graduations to provide special recognition to honor students receiving scholarships to the institution, and evaluates and processes admission applications in accordance with university policies.

Edward hails from North Chicago, Illinois and received an undergraduate degree in Marketing, and a Masters in Public Administration from Grambling State University.
