July 31, 2007 Dear Alumni: A university is often measured by the quality of the product it produces…its students. Grambling State University embraces this theory and salutes its graduates for their continued quest for excellence. Grambling State University is pleased to announce this year’s Alumni Hall of Fame “Gallery of Distinction,” which consist of representatives from each college and school. This event continues to embrace our theme “Reclaiming Our Legacy and Claiming Our Place” which is to be held during the 2007 Homecoming celebration. The purpose of this letter is two-fold: to request nominations for the 2007 Alumni Hall of Fame and to request your attendance at the Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. Our academic colleges and schools are currently accepting nominations for distinguished GSU Alumni through September 1, 2007. The nominations may be submitted through the university’s website www.gram.edu/alumni/hof. The criteria for this process are also stated on the website. We salute you, our sons and daughters of Grambling State University, and welcome you home for a time of rededication and rejuvenation.
