GSU Student Chapter - NOBCChE
NOBCChE, National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, is a professional society of approximately 4000 scientists, engineers, and others dedicated to promoting the disciplines of chemistry and chemical engineering within the minority community. NOBCChE was founded by seven individuals, who recognized the necessity for an association whose primary purpose was to serve the needs of black scientists and engineers, created the organization twenty-seven years ago. Today, we are divided into five regions with twenty-seven professional chapters and twenty-nine universities and college chapters. The Grambling State University student chapter was chartered on April 13, 1998. The chapter advisor is Dr. Danny Hubbard, Department of Chemistry.
