The Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) program is concerned with preparing individuals for a wide variety of educational and responsible positions in schools, industry, business and governmental agencies. In addition, it equips the student with a broad theoretical and practical background to meet the new and demanding problems of our technological society. The specific goal is to produce occupationally ready college graduates with salable skills to meet the defined electronics engineering technology manpower needs, primarily for Louisiana, national and international industry, business, and service agencies.
Students interested in the manufacturing area may choose to focus on Electronics Engineering Technology - Manufacturing Concentration. Besides the general and core Electronics Engineering Technology courses, this concentration provide 21 Sem. Hrs. of technical courses directly related to manufacturing field.
