Career Services Center

The Office of Career Services purpose is to assist students and alumni in exploring and choosing career-related experience, developing job search skills, and achieving employment or gaining acceptance into graduate or professional schools. In addition we provide services to the students and alumni who are seeking employment or information regarding graduate study via our online job search engine and database with NACElink Search job site.

The NACElink Network, the result of an alliance among the National Association of Colleges and Employers, DirectEmployers Association, and Symplicity Corporation, is a national recruiting network and suite of web based recruiting and career services automation tools serving the needs of colleges, employers and job candidates.

The department also sponsors a series of employee expectation seminars and workshops in addition to hosting career and teacher’s fairs.

The office also has a Career Information Center located in Jacob T. Stewart Building, Room 221. The center maintains a permanent library with brochures of many employing organizations in business, education, industry and government. The Career Information Center provides students with resume assistance, access to Monstertrak.com to search job announcement and schedule on campus interviews.

*All interested and qualified students must register with the office and submit a resume.

The Office of Career Services is open from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is located in the Jacob T. Stewart Building, First Floor, Suite 130.
