Welcome to the College of Education (COE), the first established and nationally
accredited unit, at Grambling State University.
With a rapidly changing demography, technological and sociopolitical landscape it is undoubtedly an exhilarating and challenging time to be in the College of Education (COE). As a unit committed to equity and high academic principles, the College of Education’s mission, vision, core values, and conceptual framework is under-girded by the mission of the university.
The COE, per its rigorous initial and advanced degree programs, innovative projects, and laboratory schools (Alma J. Brown Elementary, Grambling Middle Magnet, and Grambling High) seeks to promote a spirited scholastic milieu that perpetuates best practice in teaching, research, and service for its faculty, staff, and candidates.
As a recognized leader with a long tradition of excellence, the COE continues to successfully meet the needs and challenges of a society that values accountability, diversity, and innovation. Therefore, if you are interested in achieving a bachelor, master’s, or doctoral degree or continuing your development as a professional in ways consistent with the highest standard, we invite you to join us as we prepare leaders of distinction for the millennial marketplace.
