This event is produced and sponsored by the College of Education at Grambling State University. The Symposium was conceived to allow (senior and) junior-level faculty members and students (graduate and undergraduate) the opportunity to present their research projects and ideas in a nurturing and supportive environment (where workshops on writing and publishing research would be provided). This year our keynote speaker is Dr. Lisa Delpit, Eminent Scholar and Executive Director of the Center for Urban Education and Innovation (http://education.fiu.edu/urbaned/) housed at Florida International University.
