DEPARTMENT:	Department of Kinesiology, Sport and Leisure Studies
QUALIFICATIONS:	Ed.D./Ph.D. required in theraputic recreation, leisure studies, recreation, or a related field. Must demonstrate interest in the areas of pedagogy, grant writing, research and publication, and other scholarly activities. The desired candidate should be actively involved with professional organizations; and have teaching experience at the secondary and/or university level. Must have the CTRS/CLP or be in the process of securing the certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES:	The successful candidate will be expected to: Provide leadership in the career field of Leisure Studies Assist with department recruitment and retention Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels Conduct student advisement and recruitment Supervise the LSP faculty Work to maintain LSP accreditation and work with other department programs and activities Other duties as assigned
SALARY:	Salary is competitive with excellent benefits package.
