DEPARTMENT: School of Nursing  

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Nursing with at least two years of clinical experience other than teaching.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Support the philosophy, objective, and organizing framework of the nursing program.
  • Serve as a role model in the classroom and clinical activities.
  • Plan and implement appropriate teaching/learning activities.
  • Conduct formal and informal evaluation of student's achievement with provision of constructive criticism.
  • Participate in activities of professional organizations.
  • Participate in curriculum evaluation and revision.
  • Maintain rapport with clinical agencies utilized by the School of Nursing.
  • Participate on University and School of Nursing committees.
  • Maintain expertise in functional area.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
