| DEPARTMENT: | Department of Curriculum and Instruction |
| QUALIFICATIONS: | A Ph.D. or Ed. D. degree in Early Childhood Education is required. The desired candidate must have experience teaching early childhood undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as experience teaching in an early childhood setting. Active involvement with professional organizations and teaching experience at the university level are preferred. Evidence of grant writing, research and publication are a plus. A commitment to the academic achievement of a diverse student population. An excellent academic record and evidence of potential to make significant contributions to the field of teacher education in general and specifically in early childhood education. |
