| DEPARTMENT: | Department of History |
| QUALIFICATIONS: | The Department of History at Grambling State University seeks a specialist in African History, with experience teaching the world civilization survey, for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2009, contingent upon the availability of funding. A Ph.D. degree in History is required, or conferred by August 15, 2009. Active involvement with professional organizations and teaching experience at the university level are preferred. Evidence of grant writing, research and publication a plus. The preferred candidate must have a commitment to teaching and contributing to the successful development of majors in the department. |
