DEPARTMENT:	Department of Kinesiology, Sport and Leisure Studies
QUALIFICATIONS:	M.S. degree, Ph.D./Ed.D. preferred, in therapeutic recreation, recreation, leisure studies or related field. Must have work experience in subject field; must have teaching experience at the university level; must be able to coordinate internship program; must demonstrate interest in the areas of grant writing, community service, research, publishing and other scholarly endeavors; must be CTRS/CLP at time of employment or no later than six months after employment; must have computer literacy; and must be committed to excellence in education.
RESPONSIBILITIES:	The successful candidate will be expected to: Provide leadership in and support of department programs and activities Assist with student advisement and recruitment Teach courses at the undergraduate level Work with the Level Test Project Serve on committees Perform other academic duties as needed
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:	9 month non-tenure track
SALARY:	Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
