DEPARTMENT:	School of Social Work
QUALIFICATIONS:	MSW and Ph.D. degrees in Social Work or a closely related field. Candidates with ABD will be considered. At least three years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels at an accredited university; Commitment to teaching and research; Ability to work closely with students in preparing them for careers in social work; Skills and competency in writing proposals to seek external funds; Active involvement with social work professional and academic organizations; Familiarity with CSWE Commission on Accreditation’s Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards to assist the School on reaffirmation; and Strong oral and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:	The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in social work Assist the School in student advising, preparing them to gain certification Serve on School, College and University committees as assigned Conduct research Assist the School in recruitment Other duties as assigned by the assigned by the Associate Dean of the School of Social Work, Dean of the College of the Professional Studies, and the Provost/Vice-President for Academic Affairs.
