DEPARTMENT: Office of Admissions & Recruitment  

QUALIFICATIONS: A Masters degree in an academic discipline is preferred. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university is required. Three years of experience in higher education is also required. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to speak to large audiences.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist with the management and supervision of all staff members
  • Supervise the orientation of new recruiters and other staff menmbers
  • Periodically review the performance of staff and recruiters
  • Assist in the evaluation of the academic records of prospective transfer students
  • Assist in the development of general brochures for the university
  • Assist in the planning of workshops and seminars for staff professional development
  • Assist in the development of various reports for state agencies, and affiliated offices of accreditation
  • Attend conferences of a professional nature
  • Counsel students and their parents concerning admissions
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Recruitment
