DEPARTMENT: Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships  

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree required. The desired candidate must have oral and written communication skills. Must be familiar with loan collection activities and Title IV programs.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Coordinate Entrance and Exit Counseling
  • Assist in writing policies and procedures for the Default Prevention Unit
  • Coordinate activities for implementing approved debt management strategies for enrolled and former student loan borrowers to avoid defaults
  • Provide counseling regarding the university satisfactory academic progress (SAP) policy to maintain and regain eligibility for federal aid
  • Assist with the completion of other office projects as requested by the director and assistant director
  • Monitor the safekeeping of the students' Nursing and Perkins promissory notes
SALARY: Salary is competitive with excellent benefits package.
