| QUALIFICATIONS: |
This position requires a Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Nursing with at least two years of clinical experience other than teaching.
|
| RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Support the philosophy, objective, and organizing framework of the nursing program.
- Serve as a role model in the classroom and clinical activities.
- Plan and implement appropriate teaching/learning activities.
- Conduct formal and informal evaluation of student's achievement with provision of constructive criticism.
- Participate in activities of professional organizations.
- Participate in curriculum evaluation and revision.
- Maintain rapport with clinical agencies utilized by the School of Nursing.
- Participate on University and School of Nursing committees.
- Maintain expertise in functional area.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
