The Acquisitions Department acquires monographic and serials library materials, both purchases and gifts, in all formats for the library. The donation of gifts to the library is governed by the Gift Policy. Located on the 1st floor of the library, this department works with faculty to obtain their recommendations for the purchase of resources. This department oversees the significant expenditure of funds allocated in support of the 72 academic programs offered at the university. All academic colleges, schools, and departments are invited to participate in the annual selection of new library resources.
