Coach Doug Williams, coaches, players sign autographs, take photos Saturday morning
GRAMBLING, LA. - Join the G-Men Saturday, August 25 at 9:30 a.m. as Grambling State University prepares to start the 2012 football season with a Fan and Media Day at the Robinson Stadium Support Facility and Practice Field near Hobdy Assembly Center.
Tiger fans will have the opportunity to get 2012 Tiger Football Schedule cards and posters, get autographs from and take photos with Coach Doug Williams, his coaches and the players. Fans can see the new "Legends Row," a display along the fence line that celebrates Grambling State’s football greats inducted into the Grambling Legends Hall of Fame. More than 40 banners line the entrance to the Stadium Support Facility celebrating the men that made Tiger football legendary across the country. Children can enjoy a huge bouncer and other games before the event ends at 12 noon.
The season is just days away, and the team is hard at work under the Louisiana sun preparing for the September 1 season opener against Alcorn State in the Port City Classic at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The game starts at 6:00 p.m.
Tiger fans can purchase season, Port City Classic and Grambling State University/Texas Christian University game tickets Saturday.
