Grambling, LA – This weekend the Grambling State University "Lady Tiger" Basketball team will have their home opener against Stephen F. Austin. Game time on Saturday will be at 7 p.m. at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

It will not only be the home opener for the "Lady Tigers", but it will also be the return of Patricia Cage-Bibbs as Head Coach. Last season, Coach Cage-Bibbs won her 500th game as a Head Coach.  

During her first stint at GSU, Cage-Bibbs set numerous milestones, including earning the first Southwestern Athletic Conference automatic bid to the NCAA tournament for women’s basketball in 1994.

All seats for the game are just $10 and can be purchased at the GSU ticket office located at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. Fans are also encouraged to bring their canned goods or non-perishable food items to the game to help Christian Community Action of Lincoln Parish.  For more information call the GSU ticket office at 318-274-2625
