The Office of Student Retention will launch the Male Initiative Program Thursday, October 21st at 11:30 a.m. We are asking all professional men to attend and help address the academic performance and graduation rates of our male students. The GSU Department of Athletics is now implementing a new parking plan for football fans.
Only season ticket holders are allowed to purchase parking spaces inside the gated area. These parking spaces are numbered and only available for purchase by season ticket holders. University personnel are on-site to strictly enforce these rules.
Non-GSU season ticket holders are directed to alternative locations on the campus.
To avoid overcrowding, tailgating areas are now clearly marked and assigned. Tailgating spots are still available.
Prices for non-season ticketholders are $5 for regular parking and $40 for tailgating.

The 2010 Tiger yearbook will be distributed to Grambling State University students Wednesday, Oct. 13, through Friday, Oct. 15, in the Favrot Student Union plaza area.
Students can pick up their yearbooks from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. A photo identification card is all that is required for pickup.
Freshman students (2010-2011 school year) will not be issued this book, which covers the 2009-2010 school year.
After Oct. 15, yearbooks will be distributed daily from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Yearbook Office, which is located in the Facilities Annex (Barn).
Grambling State University Theatre to present Deathtrap by Ira Levin on Oct 5-8, 2010 at the Floyd L. Sandle Theatre, located in the new Performing Arts Center.
The Department of Theatre Arts at Grambling State University is pleased to announce its inaugural production of the season, Deathtrap by Ira Levin, a suspenseful thriller that keeps the audience guessing throughout the entire show. Sidney Bruhl, a playwright, is having a block in creating his next masterpiece until he comes across the work of an up and coming playwright, Clifford Anderson. How far would Bruhl go to achieve success with another’s work? Include a frail wife, a nosey psychic, and stiff attorney along with a room full of weapons and assuredly an eventful evening will be had by all who attend.
Directed by Dr. King Godwin, the cast consists of 5 talented GSU students. The production staff consists of Steve Chapin as set and light designer, Teisha Lincoln as costume designer, Emmanuel Fortune as props master and Cedric Clarke and Al Keaton II as stage managers.
The production runs Oct 5-8 at 7:00 PM each night. Advance admission ticket prices are $2 for students and $5 for general public; night of the performance admission ticket prices are $3 for students and $6 for general public.
