Career Services Center


The Office of Career Development and Placement purpose is to assist students and alumni in exploring and choosing career-related experience, developing job search skills, and achieving employment or gaining acceptance into graduate or professional schools. In addition we provide services to the students and alumni who are seeking employment or information regarding graduate study via our online job search engine and database with NACElink Search job site. The completion of your registration and posting your resume for approval by the Office of Career Development and Placement allows you to search for employment and it also allows numerous employers to search and recruit you as a potential candidate for the positions they are seeking to fill. You will be able to obtain information about various activities, employers’ visits to campus and schedule on campus interviews with employers by registering with the Office of Career Development and Placement.

The NACElink Network, the result of an alliance among the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Direct Employers Association, and Symplicity Corporation, is a national recruiting network and suite of web based recruiting and career services automation tools serving the needs of colleges, employers and job candidates.

The department also sponsors a series of employee expectation seminars and workshops in addition to hosting career and teacher’s fairs.

The Office of Career Development and Placement is open from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. We are located in the Jacob T. Stewart Building, First Floor, Suite 130.
