Grambling State University President Kicks-Off First Business Community

Louisiana – Horace Judson, President of Grambling State University
kicked-off the University’s first business breakfast this morning
speaking to an audience of over a dozen of Ruston’s business leaders,
some board members from Black and Gold Foundation, students and staff. President
Judson presented a slide presentation of current and future changes taking
place at the University. Beginning this fall in its’ first phase GSU
will open new dormitories that will house up to twelve hundred students.
In phase two there will be an additional 800 rooms. In addition new construction
will take place in rebuilding Dunbar Hall which will house the music and
drama departments. He also touched upon the University’s future enrollment
numbers as well as the new admissions criteria which will be implemented
this fall.
President Judson closed by inviting the business community to help strengthen the relationship, support, and build dialog with the university, as well as to participate in the growth of Grambling State University. Several breakfasts are scheduled throughout the year in-which President Judson plans to strengthen dialog with the business community from the university’s side.
