Grambling State University 2007 Honors Day
Grambling,
Louisiana – The annual honors day celebration for students
at Grambling State University will be held Wednesday, April 24 at 10:30
a.m. in the T.H. Harris Auditorium. Students on the honor roll, the president's
list and the dean's list for the Spring and Fall semesters of 2006, will
be recognized for their outstanding academic achievement. Also various clubs
and organizations and student researchers will be acknowledged.
State Senator Cleo Fields, D-Baton Rouge will be the featured speaker for
the annual convocation. Fields, a noted Baton Rouge attorney and former
member of congress, received his undergraduate degree in mass communication
from Southern University in Baton Rouge and earned a juris doctorate degree
from Southern as well.
