Grambling State University Founder’s Week #GramCapture Photo Challenge

In 1901, the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School emerged from the desire of African-American farmers in rural, Northern Louisiana to educate their children and inspire them to pursue a better life. Today, 114 years later, Grambling State University is still inspiring people to pursue their dreams of obtaining a college education.

We want the Grambling Family to show what inspires you about Grambling State University in the Founder’s Week #GramCapture Photo Challenge! Students, staff, faculty and alumni of Grambling are encouraged to capture photos of their favorite people, places, events, etc. that inspire them to share their love for Grambling State University. Photos taken during Founder’s Week activities are strongly encouraged.

A team of judges from the GSU Founder’s Week Committee and the Office of University Communications will select the winners from the photo contest. The first-place winner and one guest will have coffee with Grambling State University President Willie Larkin during the Fall 2015 semester. The winner will also be featured in a special article in The Gramblinite.

The second place prize will be a $25 gift certificate to the GSU Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Two entries will receive an honorable mention and a Grambling t-shirt. All contest winners and their entries will be featured on Grambling State University’s social media websites and The Gramblinite.
