Grambling State University Alumna Danette Wilson Guest Stars on “Criminal Minds”

Grambling, LA – An alumna of Grambling State University will guest star on an upcoming episode of the hit CBS television series “Criminal Minds.” Danette Wilson is a guest star in the episode entitled, “Awake,” which will air at 8 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Danette Wilson graduated from Grambling with a degree in mass communication with a concentration in broadcasting and a minor in theater. She relocated to Los Angeles to make her childhood dreams of becoming an actress a reality. Her film credits include “Exit Strategy“, “The Gray Man,” “The People Outside” and “Desi Holiday.” Television credits include a co-star role in the CBS show, “Vegas,” opposite Carrie Anne Moss and a series regular role in the pilot, “BAD GUYS,” for the NBC Playground Competition.

“Criminal Minds” follows the cases of the BAU, an elite group of profilers who analyze the nation’s most dangerous criminal minds in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.

The official synopsis for “Awake” states: “The BAU heads to Phoenix, where an unsub is forcing his kidnapped victims to endure sleep deprivation. Also, Hotch and Garcia deal with the threat from the underground hitman group, the ‘Dirty Dozen.’”
