Student Support Services Program
The TRIO Student Support Services program at Grambling State University is funded by the U. S. Department of Education under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. Student Support Services was first established at Grambling State University in 1970. The program provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and serves to motivate students towards the successful completion of their post-secondary education. Student Support Services’ (SSS) mission is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of program participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next.
