Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting  

 

DEPARTMENT: College of Business/Accounting Department  

QUALIFICATIONS: An earned Doctorate in Business with a major in Accounting is required. (ABD considered)Active involvement with professional organizations and teaching experience at the university level are preferred. Evidence of grant writing, research and publication a plus.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Guide and inspire students to learn by planning, conducting, and evaluating instructional activities geared to student learning characteristics and designed to achieve collegiate standards
  • Provide required academic advisement to students
  • Serve on university, college, and departmental committees
  • Perform other relative duties as assigned by the Department Head and Dean
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9 Month--Tenure Track

SALARY: Salary is competitive with excellent benefits package.
