Campus Card Coordinator  

 

DEPARTMENT: Department of Administrative Services  

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field-or-equivalent of (2) two years. At least one year experience in Business and Computer Applications. Experience in Card Operations and or technologies and with client server/PC workstation applications. The desired candidate should have strong computer skills including spreadsheets and database applications. The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. The desired candidate must have very strong analytical and problem solving skills and flexibility in working hours  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide assistance with the reconciliation of all Campus Card devices
  • Provide assistance in creating a wide variety of general and ad-hoc reports
  • Troubleshoot any problems that may arise with equipment and contact vendors when appropriate
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the different system administrators throughout the campus in order to provide training and operational assistance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and merchants
  • Assist in the development of contract agreements with participants of the merchant program
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies for promotion of the Campus Card program
  • Assist in creating an effective training program for development of Card Office personnel
  • Assist with recruitment of external vendors using the campus card
  • Manage the development, reporting, and communication of external vendor program
