Assistant/Associate Professor of Sports Administration  

 

DEPARTMENT: Department of Kinesiology, Sport and Leisure Studies  

QUALIFICATIONS: Ed.D/Ph.D. required in sports administration, management, physical education or closely related discipline. Must demonstrate interest in pedagogy, grant writing, research, publishing and other scholarly activities; must be actively involved with professional organizations and have teaching experience at the university level. Other experiences will be considered.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership in career field
  • Conduct research
  • Write grants
  • Assist with department recruitment and retention
  • Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Conduct student advisement
  • Develop/enhance sport degree programs
  • Adhere to GSU Faculty Handbook
SALARY: Salary is competitive with excellent benefits package.
