New Employees
All unclassified employees are required to provide an official academic transcript of their highest degree and/or professional certificate (i.e., CPA) to the Office of Human Resources upon appointment/orientation. It is the responsibility of Department Heads to advise prospective unclassified employees of this university requirement. If you are a new hire, you need to bring the following items to the Human Resource Office when you are scheduled for New Employee Orientation. The following documents are required for payroll processing set-up:
HUMAN RESOURCES
Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Driver's License or State ID
Visa and Passport (if applicable)
*Some positions will require an original copy of all transcripts
Employee Orientation Packet
Beneficiary Information:
Date of each Beneficiary's Birthday
Each Beneficiary's Social Security Number
PAYROLL OFFICE, Room 177 of Long-Jones Hall (Administration Bldg)
Direct Deposit Information:
For a Checking Account you need to bring a copy of a check
For a Savings Account you need to bring a copy of Deposit Ticket
Mandatory New Employee Orientation is required.
The Office of Human Resources will notify your Unit Head/Supervisor of the
date/time/place for orientation. You will also be required to attend a Sexual
Harassment Workshop provided by the university.
