Faculty with Administrative Duties
Dr. Roshunda Belton- Has administrative responsibility for the History Department. She is a full time
faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor and earned a Ph.D. in British/Intellectual
History. Dr. Belton teaches HIST 312 and HIST 430.
Dr Yenumula Reddy- Has administrative responsibility for the Computer Science Department. He is a
full time faculty at the rank of Professor. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
Dr. Reddy teaches CS 310 and CS 456.

Dr. Mathew Sheptoski is a Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology. Dr. Sheptoski holds the terminal degree, Ph.D., in Sociology.
Dr. Sheptoski teaches SOC 101 and SOC 201.
Dr. Russell Willis is a Tenured Full Professor of Sociology with an earned Ph.D. in Rural Sociology.
He teaches SOC 301.
Dr Jaruwan Mesit is a Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science. She earned a Ph.D. in
Computer Simulation. Dr. Mesit teaches CS 310 and CS 320.
Dr. Frances Staten is a Tenured Full Professor of Sociology. She holds the terminal degree, Ph.D.,
in Sociology. She teaches SOC 201 and SOC 200.
Dr. Bassidy Dembele is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics. He earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical
Biology. Dr. Dembele supervises student research projects related to the use of modeling
to predict the spread of infectious diseases.
Mrs. Christiana Asante-Ashong is a Lecturer II in the History/Geography department. This is a non-tenure track
appointment. Mrs. Asante-Ashong earned a Masters of Arts degree in Geography. She
teaches Geog 201, Geog 308, Geog 405.
Temporary Appointment
Dr. Prasanthi Sreekumari is a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department. She earned a Ph.D. in
Computer Engineering. Dr. Sreekumari teaches CS 310 and CS 320.
