MARC Program
ELIGIBILITY
- Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math majors
- GPA 3.3 or better (cumulative and in major)
- 60-65 Semester hours remaining to Graduate
- Committed to enroll in graduate school In Biomedical Sciences
- American Citizen or Green Card Holders
- Participate in a Summer Research Internship at a Research Intensive
Institution
- Limited to under represented minority students who are African American,
Hispanic American, Native American, and Native to the U.S. Pacific Islands
- Open to transfer students who must be enrolled at GSU During the Scholarship
Period
BENEFITS
- Total Benefits up to $43,101 (out-state) and up to $32,402 (in-state)
- Summer Research Internships (up to $5,000)
- 60% of the tuition
- $913/month stipend up to $21,912 Cash
- All Travel cost to Research Conference
- Mentoring by MARC Faculty
- Support during the applications process to graduate schools
- Enrollment in summer courses while participating in summer internships
