Within three (3) days of the student's return to college from an absence, the student who desires an excused absence must submit an application for an excused absence with verification or documentation to the Attendance Officer. Acceptable documentation includes those affidavits provided by doctors, lawyers, parents, and other officials; when appropriate. At the discretion of the Administration, the application and documentation will be reviewed for a decision. Note: Official documents must be submitted to substantiate any request for excused absence over two weeks.
