Carla Jackson has worked in various areas of the A.C. Lewis Memorial Library. She started working in the Technical Services when she was an undergraduate student at Grambling State University. After graduating in December 1986, she returned to the library and joined the Technical Services Department as a data entry operator in February 1987.
In July 1989, she was transferred to the Circulation Department as a Library Specialist 2. In July 2005, after spending sixteen years at the Circulation Desk, she was promoted to her present position in the Reference Department as a Library Specialist 3.
