Craig A. Nance is
the Chief of Police for Grambling State University. Prior to his appointment
at GSU, he served as a Precinct Commander with the Vanderbilt University
Police Department in Nashville, Tennessee.
Chief Nance has worked for several institutional police agencies, including Guilford Technical Community College, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His supervisory experience includes COP Coordinator, Recruiting, Patrol Supervision, Training, FTO Coordinator, Special Event Parking Coordinator, Criminal Investigations, and Proactive Crime Team. He is also a member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) and a certified Rape Aggression Defense Instructor.
Chief Nance holds a B.A. degree in Management and Ethics from John Wesley
College and a M.A. degree in Organizational Management from the University
of Phoenix.
