As you may know, Dr. Angel Harris, a �97
Grambling
State University - Sociology and Psychology
Department alumnus and current Princeton University Assistant Professor of
Sociology & African American Studies will be visiting his Alma Mater during
a three-day period October 27-29, 2008.
Attached for your information are flyers publicizing this visit and major
Research Forum presentation (Tuesday, October 28th at 11:00am in the
Black and Gold Room). Also, attached is a tentative itinerary indicating Dr.
Harris� scheduled activities while on campus. Please note Dr. Harris� currently
unscheduled blocks of time and let me know by return email or phone (ext. 2810)
if you would like to schedule a time for him to meet with you and/or with your
colleagues.
In addition to Dr. Harris� Research Forum
Presentation, the Department of Sociology and Psychology will also sponsor a
Student Research Forum featuring students who participated in 2008 summer
research programs on Monday, October, 27 at 4:00pm in the Grambling Hall
Auditorium. The flyer publicizing this event is also attached to this
email.
