*FYE students will participate in Founder’s Week Bus Tours – Monday, September 24th – Friday, September 28th during their scheduled FYE class times.  Thursday, September 27th will be allotted for Tours for faculty/staff and community.

*Essay Contest – sponsored by the Eddie G. Robinson Museum/Office of Advancement
Essay: “What is the importance of Founder’s Day?”
Must be typed 250 words; no more than 300 words, APA format
First 50 Essays will be considered
Open to 1st and 2nd semester Freshmen
Pick up applications from the University College, Title III Programs (Brown Hall Office or University College Instructor)
1st Place Prize – $100.00   2nd Place Prize – $50.00
Deadline:  September 24, 2018 by noon to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum

Design of Brochure Contest – Eddie G. Robinson Museum/History Department
First 50 brochures will be considered
Based on visiting the Museum
All college classifications may participate BUT  must be enrolled  in a History Class.  Judged on graphic design, purpose, and historical info on Coach Robinson’s tenure at GSU.  Must be a single fold 8.5”x 11” 2-sided sheet of paper, or a tri fold 8.5” x 14”, 2 sided sheet of paper.
Pick up application from the History Department or Eddie G. Robinson Museum.
1st Place Prize – $100.00  2nd Place Prize – $50.00
Deadline:  September 24, 2018 by noon to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum
