Grambling, LA – September 3, 2019 – Volunteer sign-ups are open now for the 2019 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Football Championship events, to be held at Grambling State University’s Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium. Volunteers will assist with hospitality, concert, and gameday events that will welcome more than 7,000 visitors to Lincoln Parish December 17 – 21, 2019.  

 

“Hosting the NAIA Football Championship is a fantastic opportunity to show the Lincoln Parish experience that has drawn students and visitors to Grambling for generations,” said Marc Newman, Grambling State University’s Vice President of Advancement, Research, and Economic Development. “This game will bring more than $1 million in economic impact to our region.”  

 

Join the History-Making Experience:  
Event, Marketing, and Hospitality Volunteers 

North Louisiana residents and college football fans across the country can now apply to be one of at least 200 volunteers for the 2019 NAIA College Football Championship. The volunteer application is now open for individual events which will be held in Lincoln Parish throughout the week leading up to the NAIA Championship. 

 

Applications can now be completed at http://bit.ly/naia19signup. 

 

Volunteer locations include Downtown Ruston, Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center, Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium, Railroad Park, and various team hotels.  

 

Volunteers will receive apparel including, one (1) jacket, one (1) shirt, and one (1) swag bag. In addition, they will enjoy free credentials to events and exclusive giveaways! 

 

About the NAIA Football Championship 

For the first time in Lincoln Parish’s rich history, the NAIA Football Championship Host Committee will host the 2019 and 2020 NAIA Football Championship. Volunteers will help the Host Committee and Lincoln Parish showcase the area’s diverse culture, landscapes, and landmarks through eight events.
