Grambling State Students To Compete in the 2020 FOX Soul HBCU Video Contest

Fox SOUL, a new live and interactive streaming channel dedicated to the African American viewer, has invited graduate and undergraduate students of Grambling State to compete in a video competition against students from Howard University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Morehouse College for a $10,000 prize.

The contest, February 24, 2020 to March 27, 2020, invites students to submit videos in one of three Contest categories, and the first, second, and third place winner in each subject category will be announced April 22, 2020.

The three subject categories under which a student may submit a video for consideration are:

  1. Knowing My Self Worth
  2. My Dream for America
  3. Letter to my Brothers and Sisters

Each video can be no more than 3 minutes long and must be original content, both video and audio combined. No copyrighted visuals or music may be included. Videos with copyrighted material will be disqualified.

Participating students must submit video entries to mediarelations@gram.edu for inclusion in the official University-proctored contest to be considered, not directly to FOX Soul.

Share your creative videos in three themes: ‘Knowing Your Worth’, ‘A Letter to America’ or ‘A Letter to My Brothers and Sisters’ for a chance to win $10,000! Let your vision be seen and your voice be heard!
