NEW ORLEANS, LA — Single-game tickets to the 2016 Bayou Classic are officially available through Ticketmaster or at the Grambling State University & Southern University Box Offices. The 43rd Annual Bayou Classic will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 4 p.m.

This Thanksgiving, over 200,000 fans from across the nation will journey to New Orleans to witness the electrifying football game between Grambling State and Southern. The highly anticipated halftime show features two of the greatest marching bands in the nation. Bayou Classic has partnered with over 17 hotels in and around the Crescent City to provide guests with unbeatable rates and added amenities to accentuate their stay.

The Mercedes Benz Superdome, home to the Bayou Classic, has a seating capacity of 76,468. The 42nd Annual Bayou Classic game boasted a record-breaking attendance of 62,907; the highest number since the Classic returned to New Orleans post Katrina. The Battle of the Bands & Greek Show boosted its 2015 attendance numbers to 29652.

Proceeds from the Bayou Classic events provide support to the campuses’ athletic programs and fund scholarships through the GSU Foundation and the SU System Foundation.
