CMAST Programs
The overall purpose of the various CMAST programs are to increase the retention and
graduation rate of STEM majors at GSU. This is accomplished through programs that
provide student and faculty support through shared classes and activities, summer
undergraduate research experiences, teacher certification programs, and the development
of new inquiry-based approaches to infuse into teaching introductory STEM courses.
Components of CMAST
CMAST is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
