Mission:

The College of Arts and Sciences is composed of eleven academic departments: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Digital Technologies, Engineering Technology, English and Foreign Languages, Family and Consumer Sciences, History, Mathematics and Physics, Music, Public Administration, Visual and Performing Arts.  The College of Arts and Sciences strives to (1) provide an environment that fosters and encourages excellence in scholarship by students and faculty; (2) prepare students for graduate and professional schools as well as for careers related to their fields of study; (3) promote faculty research and creativity; and (4) prepare students for living in a dynamic global society.
